The project

Big Data for Sustainable Urban Development is a project developed by the Getulio Vargas Foundation with financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and waze support, which creates a unique opportunity to develop a pilot model of governance of massive data with five cities in Latin America.

FGV, as an Executing Agency, coordinates the activities of three components of the project, which is expected to develop by 2020.

Component I

Mapping the Data Ecosystem and Regulatory Frameworks;

Component II

Development of Legal and Institutional Resources for The Access and Analysis of Big Data;

Component III

Development of Tools for Analysis and Visualization of Massive Data and Dissemination of the Project.
